Special business meeting regarding copier lease 1/20/08 Members present: Sharon Brewer, Christina Brewer, Dawn Brazille, Kittie Vorise, Diane Nowak, Bill Poores, Johnola Hughes, Andrea Rhoades, Rita Berube, Gary Palagruti, Cheryl Stone, Anna Dorsey, Jack Johnson, Judy Borders, Dale Brewer, Tyson Mentzer, Jan Skaggs Called to order at 12:10PM Current information from Pacific Office Automation: Average 1800 copies a month We currently pay $185.00/month Contract covers all maintenance/supplies except paper To would cost a minimum of $450.00 to ship the copier back if we choose to terminate the contract. We would still have to pay the monthly charge for 90 days after notification since there is a 90 day termination clause in the contract. Approximate cost for printing would be ~ $90.00/month if we went to an outside copier service like Kinko’s. Pacific Automation rep feels that they can get us into a new copier and contract at between $100.00 - $125.00/month The Konica/Minolta copier that they are suggesting is capable of being password protected and can be networked. Can use 110# stock to make cards as opposed to going outside about 5 times a year @ $40.00/time. Contract is expected to increased cost ~ 10% / month yearly. Motion to allow Pastor Jan, Johnola and Dale to accept a lease as long as lease is no more than $125.00/month. - MSP Adjorned at 12:35PM |
