Special business meeting regarding copier lease 1/20/08

Current information from Pacific Office Automation:

Average 1800 copies a month

We currently pay $185.00/month

Contract covers all maintenance/supplies except paper

To would cost a minimum of $450.00 to ship the copier back if we choose to terminate the contract.  We would still have to pay the monthly charge for 90 days after notification since there is a 90 day termination clause in the contract.

Approximate cost for printing would be ~ $90.00/month if we went to an outside copier service like Kinko’s.

Pacific Automation rep feels that they can get us into a new copier and contract at between $100.00 - $125.00/month

The Konica/Minolta copier that they are suggesting is capable of being password protected and can be networked.  Can use 110# stock to make cards as opposed to going outside about 5 times a year @ $40.00/time.  Contract is expected to increased cost ~ 10% / month yearly.

Motion to allow Pastor Jan, Johnola and Dale to accept a lease as long as lease is no more than $125.00/month. - MSP
